Xuklis The house is a project of the Foundation for Girls and Children with Cancer, an initiative sponsored by the Association of Relatives and Friends of Children Oncology of Catalonia, AFANOC.

In Spain, every year about 1350 new cases are diagnosed with cancer under 18 years. In Catalonia between 160 and 180 new cases.
Around 25% of children diagnosed in Spain come to receive treatment in Barcelona.
Funding Funding for the House of Xuklis is based primarily on altruistic economic contributions made by public institutions, businesses and citizens. The project is valued at 3 million euros approximately.
